There's a new discussion group about Alibre Design software (CAD) forming. It seems to be targeted at new Alibre users and those who are metalworkers/machinists. Here's the email I received:
"When Alibre offered their 2D v.11 CAD software recently for $99 they were overwhelmed with the response. Even I bought a copy. Of course at that price no support was included. There is a forum sponsored by Alibre that covers just about everything under the sun. I was hoping to find a group that was geared more to metal workers. There isn't one.
I checked for a Yahoo group. One there, but I was denied membership. I guess that the group is not setup as a support group for newbies. The only thing left to do was to start a group for metal workers. Now we have such a site:

If you've got the Alibre software, come join us. If you're contemplating buying it, drop on in too. The coffee pot is always on (as is my tea kettle). We can post our accomplishments in the Files section, discuss problems and shoot the bull as it jumps the fence."
