Admin is just a title.  I'm helping Rob out with the site.  So far that consists of deleting some spam and approving a comment.

Elbow engine was never done more than I showed you.  I have about 7 engines/projects going (you know how that goes!), and I have been slowly working on finishing things up.  I finally made a ball turner (Steve Bedair's design), and have nearly completed a “jingle bell” engine as well.  I also have a highly modified version of the HMEM EZ that I'm working on.  I have a screwless vise that needs some attention before I get much further.

In the meantime, I tore down and readjusted the lathe carriage, got a new mill (Grizzly mini mill), and cleaned up the shop considerably.  Lots of reorganization and eliminating clutter.  I still have to do some wiring for more outlets, but it's looking more like a real shop, and less like a collection of junk.

Probably the biggest improvement was getting some anti-fatigue mats for the floor.

Hey, welcome old man.  Laugh

Got the new mill in place, and the shop all cleaned up.  When you gonna swing by for a visit?

Thanks for the welcome. An Admin huh? Wow.

Probably won't happen till after the holidays. Wifes got me redoing the laundry room and the the walk-in-closet. Plus the basement is a mess. More so than when you were here last. A lot more stuff has followed me home since then.Laugh

Ever get that elbow engine finished?

Bernd

Well after you e-mailed me I decided to register here. Come to find out I had done that 1 year and 3 months ago. Surprised

What took me so long to get back on?Confused Probaly a couple of computer upgrades and a senoir mind.Embarassed I even had you in my favorites folder. I guess one reason could be that I got involved somewhat with MadModder and becoming a modorater, plus I'm a bit unfamilar with this web design. Going to take me a while to get used to this place. Also I'm not one to register with machinist forum. I usally lurk for a while before deciding to join.

I'll be showing up occasionaly to see what going on. Plus I better find my calculator so I can post messages. Laugh

Regards,

Bernd
