Littlemachineshop.com has a belt-drive kit for the MICRO-mill (NOT the mini-mill/X2) on sale through Tuesday 10/13 for $130. That's $25 off the normal price.
It will eliminate broken gears, and your mill will run faster and quieter. It's not likely that you're going to see these on sale very often, so if you've been thinking about buying one now might be the time.
